I went to the gym after work today. I got there around 9AM. My friend Erica met me there. It's always nice to have a partner. Uggh I need to work on my abs! My friend did some inclined crunches/sit ups. I attempted and failed miserably. I did 15 minutes on the treadmill; 1 mile. It was nice. I am starting to build my stamina up which is good. After that I did 8 minutes on the fit stride and 7 minutes on the bike. It was a nice cardio workout. I then moved onto weights. I did 50 reps on the arm machine. 50 reps on the inner thigh work out. 20 reps on the ab curls. 10 reps on the butterflies. 20 reps on some back work out thing. I think thats all I did. Well I spent about an hour there, normally its only a 45 minute workout. I was content with it.
After the gym I decided to work on the car! I called my cousin Brady and asked him to go with me to wash it. I took it to the automatic car wash. I spent $7. Today was a good day to take my car. THe guy was awesome! He used the pressure hose to get all the bugs and bird crap off. He went around the entire car. I was happy. I was a little disappointed. Only half my car got cleaned. While in the carwash, the blue spinny things wouldn't reach the drivers side. It was strange. Oh well, I am happy. I love the vaccums at the car wash, they are free to use and have good suction power. Me and brady vaccumed the car preaty good, then I poured some wated on a rag and sprayed some interior cleaner on the rag then washed all the plastic. It made it a little oily, but it looks like nice. It was definitely a good day to go to the carwash. I was spoiled, a gentlmen there let me use his window washer for my car and he even gave me some paper towels to use. It worked so well! The nasty film on the windows is gone. I am so happy that my car has no more kids in it. Its a clean adult car again. Woo hoo!
After the car wash, we went and got sno cones. I got a sugar free one. I didnt even eat half of it. Way too much syrup, I ended up throwing most of it away. I had a tortilla and half a brownie so far. Yummy! I haven't even showered yet, uggh! I am so nasty! I know I stink and I am at my AUnts house just chilling. I should really go home and shower. I just dont want to have to go home, then back to work, then home again. Maybe I will just go in all nasty then go home and shower. We shall see. Oh and I had my protient shake before my work out, like always.
I love coming to my Aunts house. Its always nice to just relax and visit. I copied some of her recipes. I'm on a diet, yet I am always looking for new recipes. Crescent rolls, poppy seed cake, and sour cream pancakes. Yum! Maybe on Sunday I will splurge and do one of these amazing recipes!
I got a write up at work. LAME! The vehicles I drive have a "How is my driving?" sticker/number on the back of it. Well on Friday someone decided to call that number while I was driving. I passed 3 vehicles, all were under the speed limit. I was ticked afterwards! I did nothing illegal. I wasn't speeding. It was a passing lane. Grr! Stupid idiots! Now if I get another phone call my driving privileges are suspended for 30 days! Ugh. I wish people would just think about what they are doing before they do it. I mean seriously, that person might just be ruining my life when I can't afford my car payment. Idiot.
I had a slim fast for lunch. I'm a little grumpy. What infuriates me even more is that a girl that got a speeding ticket while driving had nothing happen to her! Mine was just a stupid phone call, hers was a cop pulling her over, writing her a ticket cause she was going 10 over the speed limit! Grr, stupid management.
I talked to my friends Aric (I love how his name is spelt) and Joshua about building lean muscle. They both said to have a high protein diet and just keep going to the gym. I prefer chicken over most meat and I do like eggs. So, we shall see how well it works out. For dinner I'm going to have some chicken that I made yesterday and finish cooking the rest of the chicken thats in the fridge.
I am starting to enjoy the gym more and more. I like to go now. I find it to be a stress reliever. Tomorrow I go at 4AM. Oh the joys of waking up early again. I did enjoy my 9AM workout. I feel more dedicated at 9AM. I know I don't try as hard at 4AM. Come on, I'm still trying to wake up when I get on the treadmill. My friend Jennifer is suppose to go with me tomorrow. We shall see.
I have a meeting with Bishop tonight. I better get going. I have a few things to do before I go. I will post more if things change. Oh yeah, and I am suppose to drink the protein shake AFTER the workout not before. Who knew? I always thought it was good to drink it before because it helped build the muscle. I don't know.
