Day 3

I weighed myself today... duh-duh-duh dun (<<ominous music)... Aaaaaaand, if the scale is correct, I've lost 16lbs since the 1st day. Haha. Its not such a ludicrous idea seeing as my calorie intake is around 500/ day. My theory is that I'm burning more calories than I'm taking in. So my calorie intake is negative instead of positive. I hope this is true, cause if it is than I just might be able to lose the weight I want. I PRAY the scale isn't broke. On day 1 I weighed myself around 10AM. I had an empty stomach. Today, I weighed myself at 5:15AM or so, again with an empty stomach. After I weighed myself, I checked to make sure the scale was zeroed out, it was. I should have weighed myself again, but I didn't think about it till Dad told me to and by that time I was already on my way home. I will re-weigh myself tomorrow morning. :) I will be sorely disappointed if the scale lied to me. :(
Dad woke me up at 3:40AM. I turned my phone on and I had 3 new voice mails. Mom took herself to the hospital and they wouldn't let her drive home. Dad took me to go get her. I seriously thought about just coming back home and crawling into my nice cozy bed. I didn't. I dropped mom off and went to the gym. I got there around 4:20. I did 15 minutes on the "fit stride", keeping my heart rate above 160 the entire time. I did 15.75 minutes on the treadmill. Thats right I knocked off 4.25 minutes and was still able to do 1 mile. Go me! I then did 5 minutes on the stationary bike, keeping my heart rate above 145. I cut myself on the tread mill, thats what I get for holding on. I went and got a bandaide from the car, oh the cold air felt sooo good! I came back in, drank some water and started on the weights. I did 2 sets of 15 on the arm machine, the one where you have your hands at elbow length and push down (I should really find out what that machine is called). I did 50 times on the thigh work out. I then did 4 sets of 5 on the ab curls, leaving 10 pound weights on both sides! Woo hoo! Oh my, it burned so bad! I also did 10 butterflies. After all was said and done, I stretched for about 5 minutes. I felt the burn all morning while working out. I must be doing something right.
My ipod froze while on the stationary bike, kind of disappointing. It still won't work. What to do, what to do?
After I shower and get ready for work, I think I'm  going to have 1 slim fast and a helping of fruit for breakfast, then make 2 lettuce wraps for lunch. I'll just take some water bottles, thats really all I need to drink. I'll be getting home at 5PM tonight. 9AM-5Pm, a full days worth of work. Good thing tomorrow I don't go in till 2:30PM. Possibly getting off around 8PM. Dad wants me to work out with him when he gets off from work around noon time. That would mean I will be going to the gym twice a day. Not bad, I have a break in between. Right?
Update on my motivation. I lost the motivation from my friend. Its now just to see how much I can lose in 30 days. Haha. I'm terribly competitive at times. This is definitely one of those times. :)
Well thats it for now. I'm going to see if I can nap for a few minutes.
Work went well. I had a slim fast for breakfast and one lettuce wrap for lunch with a nice serving of fruit. For dinner I am making steamed broccoli. I've drank tons of water. Go me. :) My tummy is really hungry though, it keep growling like a mad man. Grr, I am so frustrated with my family. They bought doughnuts! Uggh! I want one sooooo bad! Haha, can't I splurge just the tiniest??
P.s. I will add on to this when I get out of work. Oo I should lose some more calories at work today too. I'm working the day program and we take the clients on 3-4 hour outings. Fun stuff!
