Day 25 - nearing the end....

Can you believe it?! It's been 25 days since I started towards my goal. Granted I haven't lost any where near the 30 lbs I wanted to, but I did lose some! Plus, I've gained a new habit. Now if I can only kick a few bad habits out...
I've currently lost 6 lbs since starting on this diet and work out regime. Like I said, no where near 30 lbs. I've definitely lost inches and toned up in certain areas. I don't know how many inches though, I never took the measurements. I procrastinate some things. I don't plan on stopping either once I hit day 30. In the end my only resolve was to better myself. The guy I mentioned on day 1's post never even came to see me while he was down. We actually never even spoke after that day. He might have been drunk, who knows. That motivation faded quickly. It was soon replaced with the giddiness of being wanted by guys. Ha-ha. It's terrible I know. Its my truth though. :)
I did go to the gym today. I did 45 minutes on the bike and 15 minutes on weights. 45 minutes on a bike is pretty killer, at least for me it was. I did 75 inner thigh workouts. 100 tricep presses. 15 weight pull downs. 15 butterflies. 15 weight push ups. Lastly, 10 ab curls for each side with 20 lb weights on each side. I did 15 normal ab curls.
I didn't have the protein shake today. I'm gonna go the next couple days without and see if it makes a difference in weight loss and muscle mass. I had 2 hard boiled eggs for breakfast and a slim fast for lunch. I didn't go in to work till 4 today. I got off at 8:15PM. I splurged at dinner. Grr. Work ordered pizza for us tonight. I ate 2 slices and then has a 1/4 of my friends sub. I LOOOOVE bread. Its definitely my weakness. I swept and mopped the floors at work. More work out, right? Ha-ha.
Oh so I tried this workout I saw on the news. They did a piece on ways to get fit. A personal trainer went on and said there is only one ab workout you ever need to do. I will try and explain it to you. Basically you start off in a push up stance, except instead of on your hands supporting you its your forearms. You have to keep your body pretty level and then you twist side to side with your hips/stomach. I did okay, the only difficult part for me is making it where my feet don't slide out from under me as I am twisting from side to side. It did make my side kind of sore. I need to attempt a push up. I have never been able to do one. Not even the girls ones very well. I was such a weakling and a fatty. Hmm.
I watched Sucker Punch with mom and dad when I got off work. It was okay. Nothing spectacular. Please don't take offense or think wrongly of me for what I am about to say. It was like a PG-13 soft core porn. Girls were running around in nighties and fighting bad guys. They even gave soft core dances. It was weird. I don't know. I didn't like it all that much. I gave it a 2 out of 5. Yeah, I really don't recommend that movie. Its just a very odd movie.
